EuroCloud Europe extends European Partnership with the new headquarter in Luxembourg

Head organization of the cloud associations in Europe to benefit from strong economic region

Luxembourg, 05. February 2013:  As part of a general assembly, held in Paris last Thursday, EuroCloud Europe re-established the organization in Luxembourg. The head association of all EuroCloud associations in Europe is now acting from the new location with the active support of the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy and Telecommunications and the Business Federation Luxembourg, Fedil.

"Luxembourg is very well situated in the ICT and cloud environment. We can resort on location and network benefits that will take forward the work of the cloud services industry in Europe "says Bernd Becker, who has been elected to the new president of EuroCloud Europe.

EuroCloud Europe, which has held its annual conferences since its inception of 2010, in Luxembourg, will expand its work from the new headquarter continuously. In the future EuroCloud Europe wants to offer memberships for companies in the European market, who are already members in one of the local EuroCloud organizations, which will get special benefits as a "Supporting Member".
The new Executive Board of EuroCloud Europe consists of Bernd Becker (President, D) and the Vice Presidents Amal Choury (LUX), Tobias Höllwarth (AUT), Phil Wainwright (UK), Paulo Calcada (P), Dalibor Bascovc (SLO ) and Michael Abrahamson (S).

The founder and former president of EuroCloud Europe, Pierre-José Billotte was unanimously elected as Honorary President and will continue to play an active role for France within Eurocloud Europe.

EuroCloud Europe was founded in 2010 with headquarters in Paris, and is represented by 21 national EuroCloud associations in Europe.
